ABOUT

Linus

Linus is a Duolingo-style SAT prep platform.

I worked closely with the founders to design user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to improve usability and engagement. We also worked on a checkpoint system, which made it possible to do more research and avoid future mistakes. I was lucky to have a team that made space to engage deeply with each other.

The main features I worked on: Leaderboards, Video Library, Drills, Turbo Gifting, Study Buddies, Personal Plan, Map, Past Mistakes, App Store screens.

Problem
Value creation, suistainable growth, value growth.

Over 2 million students take the SAT each and every year – the most important test of a young person's life. But outcomes are highly inequitable, with affluent students able to afford high-priced private tutors while others have to rely on borrowed and out-of-date textbooks.

Solution
• Linus has helped over 50k students do better on the SAT! That is over 2% of the annual test-taking population of ~2m.

• Designed to make SAT prep. equitable, accessible, and engaging, the platform empowers students with modern, interactive learning experiences.

•  A gamified, accessible platform that replaces expensive tutoring.
